My research is groundedin policy issues that affect sustainable economic growth in emerging markets. Previous work involved property rights establishment and its effect on trade and deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2017 as a Presidential Fellow, and have received various research fellowships and teaching awards.
